Unpredictable are your mighty currents
Rough and deadly are your undertows
Yet you pass so fluently
So quickly yet so slowly
Nothing or no one can stop or reverse you
Though many have tried all have failed
You answer to no one
Yet all must answer to your flow
You've been recorded throughout history
Yet only you know your true story
As you continue to pass without remorse
Everything continues to come and go
Tossed along your mighty waves
You continue to exist unaffected by our world
